Ballymena Project

This is an on going project we have been working on in the Doury area of Ballymena that has alot

 of derelict houses that are due to be knocked down at some stage.

In the meantime

Blaze Fx have been working with local youth at Waveney Youth Centre to design and paint
artwork on boards that are then used to cover the windows and doors of the houses.

The boards are re used on different sites giving other houses a new

lease of life aswell as showing the youth can have a positive effect on their area.
The Young people had some great ideas like turning houses into shops,nightclubs and hairdressers
aswell as using the artwork for anti drug and crime messages. The Project has had a great response
from the community.
